Activities for Everyone
The Helen Garden is home to an 18-hole putting course, pétanque court and bowls green. Open 7 days a week from Spring to Autumn - now closed for Winter 25/26. No need to book - just turn up, pay and play (last equipment hire is 1 hour before our clubhouse closes).
Coffee & Food.
Treat yourself to a sourdough toasted sandwich, grab a breakfast roll, or try one of our legendary cakes with a Cadence coffee. Our full menu is available here, along with the ice creams and treats you might expect from a spot on the seafront.

The Helen Garden is at the far western end of Eastbourne seafront at the foot of the Downs. Whether you’re coming off the South Downs Way, or preparing for the steep ascent by Bede’s School next to us, we’re ready with the refreshments.
